Free Computer Classes Scheduled

Goodwill Industries is offering pre-screening for its next session of Computer Basics, an eight-week beginners’ class designed to help people build confidence and develop job skills to improve their employment opportunities. The class is free to qualified applicants. A $25 deposit is required at registration and is returned upon completion of the course. The class meets Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. and will run from September 15 through November 7 at the Illinois Central College North Campus.

Individuals interested in taking the class need to attend a pre-screening session on either August 18 or 19 at Goodwill, 2319 E. War Memorial Drive in Peoria. To make an appointment, call Alexa at 309-682-1113.
