My mother shops at Goodwill all the time. I tell her it's better to shop elsewhere because low income people need those goods. Who is right?
Your mother, of course! Goodwill shopping is for anyone who wants to save money. Our in-store surveys show that people from all walks of life and income shop at Goodwill frequently. Plus, we use the proceeds from all our store sales to fund our job training and employment services.

How often does your store inventory change?
New merchandise is put on our sales floor every day. We receive thousands of donations every week, and we process them as quickly as possible in order to make them available for sale. No matter when you visit, Goodwill will always have something you are looking for!

Why won't you take all of the stuff I want to donate?
We sell/recycle the majority of all goods donated, however we are forced to take some dirty and broken materials to the landfill. Please help us minimize our waste by donating only items that are in good condition. Click to see a list of what we cannot accept.
