Contrary to what you might have heard, Goodwill is not just a great thrift store! Your local Morris, IL Goodwill uses the profits generated from sales and puts that money back into the community! Everything you purchase – clothes, shoes, jewelry, toys – helps funds our community support programs. We provide job training, veterans’ services, and skills classes that many people would not otherwise be able to find. That’s our mission, and we want your help to carry it out!

- Veterans’ Services – Goodwill helps provide living and medical assistance, job training, and a reliable support network to veterans in Central Illinois, so they can successfully reintegrate into society. - Job Skills Training – In our eClasses and Employment Services Centers, people can learn how to properly write a resume, prepare for interviews, fill out applications, and even receive hands-on forklift training! Goodwill also accepts applications for our own stores. Goodwill even offers classes to help people in their life outside of the workplace, in such subjects as time management and conflict resolution.
- Youth Services – One of the most important parts of community outreach is helping local youths. Goodwill’s youth services include the “GoodGuides” youth mentoring program, career seminars and workshops to give teens hands-on work experience, and classroom career training!
