How to Aid Your Local Community!
Looking for a way to give away your gently-used clothes, book, CDs or housewares? Donate them to your local Pekin, IL Goodwill store! Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois has eleven stores and two donation centers throughout the region. Almost anything you have can be donated: your clothing, kitchen appliances, shoes, even your old car!
Aside from just opening up space in your attic or garage, donating to Goodwill has a real-world impact on your community! Your donated goods are sold back to the local consumer, and a portion of the profits are used to fund community outreach programs. Plus, your donations are eligible for a tax deduction!
