Employee(s) of Excellence – McFarden & Bachman
They say that “teamwork makes the dream work”, and this is exactly what’s happening at Goodwill’s Logistics Center. We proudly announce Jim McFarden and John Bachman as our September Employee(s) of Excellence.
Many great things work in pairs; salt and pepper, peanut butter and jelly, pizza, and pineapple…well maybe not that last one. But these two men are great together because they share the same work ethic. Their job is to transport donations. It might sound easy, but it’s not. It’s a logistical challenge as they travel between 11 stores, 5 donation centers, and Goodwill headquarters.
Their professionalism and courtesy are evident, and we hear about it from our donors! They always carry a positive attitude with them and that is what we want our donors to see. Without donations, Goodwill cannot offer all its free services. We want our donors to know that we appreciate every box, bag, or truck full of their stuff.
