PNC Provides Digital Skills Grant
Goodwill of Central Illinois has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the PNC Foundation. The award will help fund Goodwill’s Digital Skills Program.
“With this grant we can continue to invest and innovate our program to ensure we are meeting the community needs,” said Goodwill’s Director of Program Services, Lori Johnson. “We have a long-standing belief in the importance of building digital skills knowledge in our community.”
Goodwill offers 50 state-of-the-art training workstations at their two computers labs, located in Peoria and Pekin. As a result of the pandemic and through a partnership with PNC, Goodwill has extended these classrooms virtually.
Goodwill also offers employment services, veterans’ support services, and a youth mentoring program. All Goodwill services and programs are free.
